Race Report

Fat Salmon swim is a great long distance swim race from I-90 bridge to Madison Beach Park.  Water conditions were ideal this year and we had 14 strong athletes complete the swim. Great swimming by all!  Thank you to teammates Jeff Sorrentino, Bert Chavez, Glen Moore, & Jim Rauch for the team support.

Race Highlights:

  • 4 First time Fat Salmon finishers: Heidi Slomer, Karen De Jongh, Ann Judd, & Mary Foster
  • Casey Alex placed 1st AG
  • Dana Robertson Halter, Melissa Eamer, and Karen Wolfe each placed 2nd in their AG
  • Karen De Jongh placed 3rd AG
