Lisa has over 20 years of experience as a coach, swimmer, and triathlete. She has excelled as a top age group swimmer, runner and triathlete in both short and long course events. Lisa has earned top performances and titles as an age-group and masters athlete, including winning her age group and setting a new course record by 14 minutes at Ironman Coeur d’Alene in 2011. Lisa’s enthusiastic personality and her natural ability to motivate make her ideal for working with athletes of all ages and abilities. She is passionate about the sport and Pauole Sport is pleased to welcome such a great addition to our coaching staff.

Training and Knowledge

Lisa has been a USAT Level I Certified Triathlon Coach since 2004. She combines her training, knowledge, and years of race experience to help athletes prepare physically and mentally for all distance triathlons. She has coached triathletes, runners, and swimmers since 2004 helping them meet and surpass their goals. For several years, Lisa was also the coach for the Starbucks Corporate Triathlon Team. She knows how to work with clients who have busy lives, but still want to swim, bike, run and race at their best.

Personal Experience

Lisa was a former top age group swimmer back in the 70’s and began running during college for fun. After several knee surgeries from ski accidents she began cross training and entered her first triathlon, Danskin in 1996. Lisa enjoys racing all distance triathlons and has competed in countless Sprints and Olympic races, including overall wins at Danskin, Kirkland Sprint and Chelanman Olympic. Over the years, she has placed top 3 overall in many Northwest events and is a 5 time USAT All American. Lisa is a 10 time Ironman finisher with a personal best and age group record of 11:15:22 at Ironman Coeur d’Alene in 2011. Lisa has competed at the Ironman World Championships 4 times with 2011 being her strongest performance with a 7th place finish in 11:25:41. Lisa has become such a strong runner that she has qualified for the Boston Marathon 3 times during her marathon leg at Ironman Hawaii races, with 3:54 marathon being her PR.
