Training and Knowledge
As a USAT Certified Level I Triathlon Coach, Aaron combines his training and experience to deliver comprehensive training programs including sport specific elements, strength training, nutrition, and mental preparation.  He has coached triathletes and runners of varying skills and abilities for both short and long course events.  Aaron believes in both the physical and mental aspects of training. He helps athletes mentally approach each race and overcome obstacles during critical moments on race day.

Personal Experience
Aaron ran his first 10K when he was 9 years old and from then on was hooked.  He has become an exceptionally strong runner, posting his fastest marathon in 2009 of 2:48:11.  Aaron has consistently won the overall title at the Bill Burby Inspirational 10K, an extremely hilly course.  He has raced countless triathlons of all distances and has been extremely successful. Aaron has completed over 10 Half Ironman’s and has placed first in his age group in the Northwest for multiple races.  Aaron is a 6 time Ironman finisher with a personal best of 9:53:27 at Ironman Canada 2008. He had a fantastic 2009 race season with outstanding performances at Escape from Alcatraz and New Balance Half Ironman (4:18:03).  He wrapped up his race season by qualifying and competing in the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii.  Aaron thoroughly enjoyed his Kona experience both on and off the course. One of Aaron's greatest achievements is being able to successfully balance work, volunteering, training and playing!
